Monitoring data for two existing masonry structure in Beijing in second half of year 2020.

This data set is obtained from a monitoring period of around 7 months(the second half year of 2020) on two masonry structures (YQ and HM) in Beijing, China. The two masonry structures have been built for more than 70 years, which has many diseases. Before the monitoring, an on-site investment had been carried on to identify the diseases and assess the safety level. According to the field investigation results, the monitoring targets were determined. The monitoring consists of measurements of settlement, crack, incline, and convergent deformation of the exterior wall, lateral displacement of the window sill, and the ambient temperature and humidity. The data monitoring interval is one hour. This data is well-suited for studying the relationship between structural damage of existing masonry residential buildings and environmental temperature variations. In addition, the data noise of the dataset has been reduced by wavelet denoising.
