Datasets for Efficiency and Emissions Performance in Latvian Dairy Farming: An LCA-Based Comparison Across Farm Sizes

The research presents an evaluation of dairy farming in Latvia and the relationship between farm size, productivity, and environmental impacts. It provides data on economic indicators, milk yields and quality, as well as environmental impact indicators, to compare dairy farms by size in Latvia. A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) framework was used at the cradle-to-gate level to map out the environmental hotspots and assess available emission factors across three different sizes of dairy farms. The analysis explores how dairy farm sizes influence efficiency, emission, and sustainability outcomes.
