Comparative transcriptomic

Comparative transcriptomic studies was conducted between two Brassica napus DH lines developed from a cross between a resistant and susceptible lines against Sclerotinia stem rot. The DH lines selected were shown clear difference of lesions, one with resistant pattern and other with susceptible pattern in three years with same flowering time and were thus used for RNA-sequencing. The comparative transcriptomics of the sample taken at three time points i.e., 24, 48 and 96 hours post inoculation including three replications at each time point inoculated with Sclerotinia sclerotiorum plug along with their mock inoculated one at each time point were used for both resistant and susceptible lines.
