资源简介:
Four archaeological sites in Yellowstone National Park were examined for pollen and/or macrofloral remains. Site 24YE32/48YE765 is a large camp site with three cultural horizons situated on the Montana/Wyoming border. Site 24YE14 exhibited both an historic and a Pelican Lake prehistoric component. Site 24YE344 is an open campsite with evidence of three occupations. Samples from Site 24YE354 represent Late Prehistoric fire-cracked rock hearths/roasting pits. Pollen and macrofloral analyses are used to provide information concerning plant resources utilized by the occupants of these sites.
