A 40 µm isotropic resolution, population-averaged MRI template of the adult mouse brain (v1)

This dataset contains a 40 µm isotropic resolution, population-averaged whole-brain template derived from 12 adult mouse brain MR volumes. All 12 volumes were acquired ex vivo using ultra-high-field MRI (17.2 T) and standardized tissue preparation procedures to ensure consistent contrast and minimal deformation.
This reference template can serve as a structural reference for comparative neuroanatomy, image registration, algorithm development. Together with a corresponding [segmentation dataset](https://doi.org/10.25493/2SN7-JH7) they constitute the ‘HypoAtlas’, which can be used for quantitative studies focusing on mouse hypothalamic organization and function.
