AMT26 (JR16001) CTD profiles (pressure, temperature, salinity, potential temperature, density, fluorescence, transmittance, downwelling PAR, dissolved oxygen concentration) calibrated and binned to 1 dbar.

This dataset consists of 72 CTD profiles collected during the Atlantic Meridional Transect programme cruise 26 (AMT26 JR16001) between 20th September and 4th November 2016. The cruise track between UK and Falkland Islands, via South Georgia, passed through both north and south Atlantic gyres. This dataset contributes to the AMT time-series of core oceanographic measurements along a north-south transect of the Atlantic Ocean. The profile down casts were processed on-board and binned to 1 dbar. Calibrations were applied to salinity and oxygen measurements as described in the post cruise report. Fluorescence has not been calibrated for this dataset.
