P+R refers to the park-and-ride privilege granted to vehicle owners who park their vehicles at designated P+R parking lots in Shanghai and transfer to rail transit for their subsequent journey. Based on transaction data from transportation cards or mobile transit QR codes, this dataset provides park-and-ride (P+R) passenger flow statistics at rail transit stations across the Shanghai metropolitan area, with temporal granularities of monthly, daily and hourly intervals. This product can be applied in scenarios including urban planning, transportation planning, traffic management and operation, emergency command, scientific research, site selection and advertising promotion.
