资源简介:
Phylogenetic analysis using pan-genome Snps of Yersinia enterocolitica reported the existence of six different lineages (phylogenies), phylogroups (PG) 1-6(8). In the pathogenic yersinia pseudotuberculosis, global population structural phylogenetic analysis provide definitive evidence for a geographic split between Asian and European strains and the presence of discrete phylogenetic clusters within the species. On the other hand, in Yersinia enterocolitica, the phylogenetic relationship among the country of isolation remain unknown. The above-mentioned Yersinia enterocolitica phylogenetic analysis is mainly from European strains (8), and asian strains including Japan are not included. So phylogenetic position and diversity of Japanese strains in the global population are unknown. It is also unclear whether there is a difference in strains depending on the origin of the host. In our study, We collected 55 Yersinia enterocolitica strains isolated from various specimens such as human, wild boar and Vole in Japan and determined the genome sequence. we present a global analysis of diversity of the Yersinia enterocolitica to examine the population structure of bacterial pathogens in the context of the entire genus, encompassing both genomic features and metabolic signatures.
