Baseline association between Health Eating Index 2015 and Quality of Life in breast cancer survivors (DEDiCa Study)

Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) is an important self-perception parameter of overall health and represents one of the most concerning aspects for cancer patients. The Health Eating Index (HEI) is an a priori measure of diet quality and has been directly associated with health outcomes and HRQoL in cancer survivors. Therefore, we evaluated baseline associations between HEI-2015 and quality of life indices in 506 women with breast cancer (BC) without metastases recruited in DEDiCa diet trial between 2016 and 2021 in Italy.
