The dataset was gathered as part of the AECED project (Transforming Education for Democracy through Aesthetic and Embodied Learning, Responsive Pedagogies and Democracy-as-becoming), funded by Horizon Europe and UKRI (Grant ID: 101094052). The project explores how aesthetic and embodied methods advance democratic learning within the six European country contexts. This collection documents the implementation and iterative evaluation of the Prototype Pedagogical Framework and Guides across Higher Education and Adult, Professional, and Organisational learning contexts in Germany. Collected between October 2023 and February 2025, the material encompasses a mixed-methods collection. The data consists of pseudonymized interview transcripts, student-developed pedagogical methods, surveys, digital photographs and videos, researcher field notes, and participant reflections. The metadata is released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Researchers may request access to specific materials for academic purposes by contacting the project leads.
