Complete Genome Assembly of a multidrug-resistant Yersinia enterocolitica Y72 from a 2019 outbreak in Sweden

Here, we report the complete genome of Yersinia enterocolitica Y72, a clinical strain isolated from a Swedish patient during a foodborne Yersinia outbreak in 2019. With emerging Yersinia outbreaks circulating in Nordic countries, the Y72 genome will provide more insights on the genetic relatedness and antibiotic resistance dissemination in future studies.
