Notch activation time course in olfactory receptor neuron precursor

We established an integrated neural stem cells maintenance experimental system; focusing on the Notch-mediated self-renewal of mammalian embryonic olfactory SCs in order to dissect the molecular control of Notch-dependent transcription at the level of individual promoter nucleosomes. We adapted an acute Notch activation approach, and utilized CAGE (Cap Analysis of Gene Expression) to precisely map transcription start site positions and promoter architecture in order to dissect the Hes1 induction event.
