<b>Genomic structure, ecological suitability and biogeographic history of the palm </b><b><i>Acrocomia aculeata</i></b><b> across Central America</b>

Plant samples used for understanding the genomic structure and biogeographic history of the widespread Neotropical palm Acrocomia aculeata across the Central American Isthmus. We investigated the genomic structure and biogeographic history of the widespread Neotropical palm Acrocomia aculeata (Jacq.) Lodd. ex Mart. across the Central American Isthmus. The study comprises double-digest Genotyping-by-Sequencing (ddGBS) data from 259 demultiplexed samples derived from foliar tissue collected from natural populations in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.
