These data describe catches of California spiny lobster
( Panuliris interruptus ) in the Santa Barbara
Channel. Lobster count and weight were collected from Santa Cruz
Island between 2006 and 2018. Data are contained in two tables: 1)
Catch per trap across all sites 2) the weight in lobster caught in
traps from all sites. This is a data package to support manuscript: Hunter S. Lenihan,
Sean P. Fitzgerald, Daniel C. Reed, Jennifer K.K. Hofmeister, and
Adrian C. Stier. Increasing spillover enhances southern California
spiny lobster catch along marine reserve borders. Ecosphere.
