The above ground biomass collected from each of 30 sites (3 quadrats each) which contains living, standing dead, and litter biomass. Below ground biomass was collected from the same sites (7 in-growth cores) after cores were removed at the beginning of the season, replaced with vermiculite, then re-collected at the end of the growing season to measure the amount of root biomass produced at each site. <br>
