Microbial Community Structure and Functional Dynamics in Mangrove Sediments under Zero-Magnetic Field Exposure

This dataset comprises 16S rRNA (prokaryotic) and ITS (fungal) amplicon sequencing data derived from mangrove (MG) and mudflat (MF) sediment samples exposed to near-zero magnetic field (ZMF) and natural geomagnetic (GMF) conditions. The study aimed to investigate the impact of magnetic field absence on microbial diversity, community assembly, co-occurrence networks, and key ecological functions. Samples were collected from the Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve (Shenzhen, China) and incubated under controlled magnetic conditions for 14 and 30 days.
