Incidence of hepatitis in Cuba 2013-2022

In 2022, the number of new cases of viral hepatitis in Cuba amounted to 1,704 diagnoses, up from 1,316 infections registered in the previous year. The incidence of viral hepatitis increased considerably in the Caribbean country compared to 2013, when there were 471 new cases of the disease. As of 2022, Cuba had a total of 149 hospitals.
