THE COGNITIVE ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE AND WORLDVIEW

This article examines the relationship between language and worldview from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. The study explores how language reflects human conceptualization, cultural knowledge, and cognitive processes that shape the perception of reality. Particular attention is given to conceptual metaphor, categorization, frame semantics, and cultural models as theoretical foundations for explaining worldview representation in language. The findings demonstrate that language functions not only as a means of communication but also as a cognitive system through which people organize and interpret their experiences. The study highlights the significance of cognitive linguistic approaches for understanding the interaction between language, culture, cognition, and worldview.
