The availability of genomic information of U. virens is limited to a finite number of origins. Here, we reported a virulent albino strain of U. virens whole genome sequence. Analysis of the albino strain genome sequence would aid in the understanding of the diversity of the U. virens strain, particularly in regard to secondary metabolic genes and biosynthetic gene clusters. Our study seeks to contribute to the existing knowledge and establish a new genomic resource for the U. virens strain.
