The letters are concerned with the purchase and leasing of the Church and Schools land and, in the earliest volume, the delivery and sale of cattle - the property of the late Corporation. In the later volumes most of the letters are from the Colonial Secretary and other officials. The 1865-68 bundle contains only letters transmitting rents re Clergy and School Lands. 1834-36 (9/2706), 1839-50 (4/56-59), 1865-68 (4/7514). 5 vols, 1 box.
