资源简介:
Using paired breast cancer cell lines of murine origin, and comparator cell lines of human origin, we showed that cell lines with high vasculogenic mimicry (VM) competence were associated with greater oxygenation heterogeneity and poorer anti-angiogenic response, reflected as stable meshed networks in vitro and blood-containing circular structures in vivo. The parallel nature of the findings in vitro and in vivo highlights the potential for morphological characteristics of VM competent networks to act as biomarkers of the presence and extent of VM. The analysis of the in vitro pseudo-vascular networks can be found in Oraiopoulou et al., 2024. For the analysis of the in vivo data, PATATO software was used for the analysis of photoacoustic tomography data (GitHub.com/tomelse/patato). For the analysis of the photoacoustic mesoscopy data, a new software was developed, GAS, based on graph theory (GitHub.com/inSeption-Lab/VMgraphs). Here, a dataset from all experiments acquired and analysed for this study can be find in the form of table as a .csv files. For the statistical analysis, the .csv files that serve as input to code package in R, are organised in separate folder directories. All related figures of the manuscript are reproduced this way.
