## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThe location of coal bore holes in the QLD area of Clarence-Moreton region.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nDisplay the distribution of mineral occurrences and the key characteristics of the mineralisation.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe data set is sourced from the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines 'Geoscience and Resources Database' (GRDB), a component of the MERLIN tenure and geoscience system. The data set contains information about operating coal mines in Queensland. These data are the location details from the COAL database.
