Trajectories from a drifter release in the Arctic Ocean Beaufort Sea, Fall 2016

The data was collected September 25 through November 24, 2016 during a field campaign in the Arctic Ocean Beaufort Sea. The dataset consists of drifters trajectories from 20 CARTHE drifters released in two phases (18 drifters first and 2 drifters later). The first release was done September 25th in a region of open waters while the second one, with only two drifters, was done 3 weeks later in a region close to the ice edge. The dataset contains ~30 days of high temporal and spatial resolution positions in time for both raw and filtered data.
