Enzyme-based nanomotors (NMs) have attracted considerable attention for their biomedical potential. They can self-propel through highly viscous biological barriers and actively modulate their local environment. This proposal aims to elucidate how NMs activity remodels both particle and matrix structure, producing mesh loosening, pore-size changes, and barrier reorganization. These analyses will guide the iterative design of optimized NMs for efficient biological barrier crossing.
