Melt Inclusions

The set contains melt inclusions composition (Major elements) and H2O content. Presented melt inclusions from 4 different caldera eruptions: Vetrovoy Isthmus (Iturup Island), Lvinaya Past' (Iturup Island), Kurilskoe Lake (Kamchatka), Okataina (Taupo, New Zealand). These data were obtained during the development of a method for determining water in melt inclusions by Raman spectroscopy and EDS EMPA. Therefore, each analysis of the melt inclusion is accompanied by three analyzes of the water content (1 EDS) and two analyzes by Raman spectroscopy, implying different ways of calculating the water content.
