The data originates from the OCO-2 satellite, which was launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for global atmospheric carbon dioxide monitoring and features a global revisit capability once per day. To facilitate access for domestic users, this dataset is organized and maintained by the team of the National Earth Observation Science Data Center. Individual products are aggregated into monthly compressed datasets for data distribution and related services.
