Scanning probe microscopy images and python codes supporting the study of chiral charge density wave of TaS2

Scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) images and python codes supporting the study of chiral charge density wave of TaS2. STM is used to map the CDW and extract the phase by holographic imaging, in the NC-CDW phase at 300K. Topological defects are observed in the phase maps. Strain maps are extracted. Chirality is extracted based on the CDW phase winding. These results are described in the preprint https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2601.03379.
