资源简介:
Phenological studies of Caatinga native species are still incipient, being this an important tool to subsidize studies related to production of seed technology, post-harvest, fruit management, among others. Byrsonima gardneriana A. Juss is an endemic Caatinga species, with large spatial distribution and wide use in cooking, whose fruits have high levels of vitamin C and phenolic compounds. B. gardneriana presents viable phenological characteristics in the drought period with development of the phenophases even when the edaphoclimatic conditions are not favorable. In general, it can be mentioned that B. gardneriana presents phenological characteristics viable during the drought period with development of phenophases even when the edaphoclimatic conditions are not favourable, indicating that this species can be a viable alternative for the agricultural production, responding to the pulses of rainfall, even if of short duration.
