Digital Archive from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Ducie Street, Manchester 2022

This digital archive contains images, CAD and site records from an archaeological watching brief at Ducie Street, Manchester from July through to September 2022. The purpose of the watching brief was to record any archaeological remains that survived on the site according to the Written Scheme of Investigation prepared for this work. During the watching brief, remains of the aforementioned housing were uncovered, but had been largely truncated by the later addition of a large 'Works' development, particularly over the northern sections. A large concrete slab associated with this development was also lifted, revealing the north-eastern extent of a 19th-century industrial building.
