Most commonly wasted food types in the U.S. by building type 2017

This statistic shows the results of a survey among Americans in 2017 in regards to their most commonly wasted food types, with a breakdown by type of building. As of March 2017, some 49 percent of respondents living in detached houses stated that they threw away dairy products the most often.
