B-mannanase supplemented in diets saved 85 kcal of metabolizable energy/kg, supporting performance, improving nutrient digestibility and fecal microbiome in pigs

Although increasing attention has been given to the use of exogenous enzymes in pig nutrition, few studies have considered the combination of B-mannanase-xylanase-phytase enzymes. Therefore, the effects of B-mannanase supplementation in metabolizable energy-reduced diets containing xylanase-phytase were investigated on performance, fecal score, carcass attributes, blood profile, apparent total tract digestibility, digesta passage rate, and fecal microbiome in grower pigs.
