Neltuma pallida chloroplast genome assembly

This project looks forward to assemble, annotate and analyze the cloroplast genome of Neltuma pallida. For this purpose, the total DNA of Neltuma pallida specimen was extracted and sequenced by Illumina methodology. The reads generated were filtered to retain only the chloroplast DNA, which was used to assemble the chloroplast genome of the species. This genome was annotated by gene prediction and analyzed to compare its information to other chloroplast genomes of related species.
