资源简介:
A biotope protection area is part of the protected natural spaces (ENP) which are
areas designated or managed in an international, Community, national or local framework
to achieve specific objectives for the conservation of the natural heritage.
The purpose of the biotope protection area is to conserve the habitat of protected species.
It is a regulatory protection tool at the departmental level, the implementation of which is
relatively flexible. It is part of the protected areas which are primarily covered by the
creation of Protected Areas (SCAP), and ranks as IUCN Category IV as an area of
management. Most biotope protection areas are monitored either directly at
through a committee under the authority of the prefect, i.e. indirectly within the framework of arrangements
such as Natura 2000 and through local ownership.
In the case of a biotope protection order defining several zones where rules
separate applies (e.g.: on the one hand and watershed on the other), the
geometry to be retained to map the protection zone corresponds to the envelope
the largest geographic area.
