Equine myotonic dystrophy (eMD) represents an uncommon neuromuscular disorder marked by muscle hypertrophy and stiffness, dystrophic histopathological features, and myotonic discharges of undetermined origin. The present data are from RNAseq analysis on skeletal muscle biopsies from five clinical cases of eMD and five control horses. The study goal was to elucidate aberrant gene expression.
