资源简介:
Our study presents a comprehensive analysis of the enrichment of nitrogen-15 (15N) to nitrogen-14 (14N) (delta [δ]15N) in atmospheric nitrogen dioxide (NO2) collected during the Alaskan Layered Pollution And Chemical Analysis (ALPACA) 2022 international winter campaign in Fairbanks, Alaska. Building on in situ meteorological and trace gas, the isotopic fractionation effect driving the significant δ15N variability of NO2 observed in downtown Fairbanks is quantified with great precision. The δ15N records corrected for equilibrium fractionation effects are discussed in light of a local nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission inventory.
This data contains:
- δ15N values of measured NO2 at the Community and Technical College (CTC) site,
- δ15N values of NO2 corrected from fractionation effects,
- hourly emission rates of NOx in the Fairbanks nonattainment area (Alaska Department of Conservation/Environmental Protection Agency updated emission inventory for the duration of the ALPACA-2022 campaign)
