The ground-based SIF data were measured from a high-resolution spectrometer (QEpro; Ocean Insight, Orlando, Florida, United States of America [USA]) with spectral coverage between 649 and 807 nm (sampling interval of 0.15 nm/pixel) and a full width at half maximum of 0.30 nm besides eddy flux tower. The QEpro spectrometer was connected via a fiber switch (FSM1 × 8, Piezosystem Jena GmbH, Jena, Germany; MOL-1 × 8–600-H, Leoni Fiber Optics GmbH, Fo ̈ritztal, Germany) to three optical fiber channels. The near-infrared SIF was retrieved from paired measurements of downward solar irradiance and upward reflected radiance by the spectral fitting method. Refer to Buareal et al.
