This dataset contains data (.xls files) and code with data descriptions (.Rmd and .pdf) for the manuscript 'On citing Dobzhansky about the significance of evolution to biology' by Stefano Giaimo ([e-mail]). <br> Information about the data is contained in the Markdown file (.Rmd) and in the PDF file that was generated by knitting the Markdown file to PDF in RStudio. The Markdown and PDF files also detail the way in which figures in the manuscript are generated from data using R.
