RNA-seq of long-day Chenopodium ficifolium 283, seedlings

Chenopodium circadian experimentIn this study we de novo assembled the transcriptome of Chenopodium ficifolium from RNA-Seq data.RNA was isolated from seedlings of long-day C. ficifolium 283 (Europe) grown under a long (18h light) and short photoperiod (6h light) at 22C, 60% humidity and 130 lux in growth chambers. Seedlings were collected at 9 am and 3 pm at 13, 15 and 19 days after sowing.We examined the patterns of the differentially expressed genes, focusing on the genes related to floral induction such as the FTL paralogs, SOC1 and B-BOX genes.
