RNA-seq comparison of psmA mutant and wild type of Streptomyces venezuelae

As part of the characterization and investigation of the function of the psmA gene (vnz_18405) in Streptomyces venezuelae, a mutant lacking psmA was constructed. Here, the effect of this mutation on gene the expression pattern during vegetative growth was compared to the wild-type parent strain. Triplicate samples were prepared of wild type and mutant, and RNA was extracted and subjected to RNA-seq analysis. The results are part of submitted manuscript (Singh Mavi and Flärdh).
