资源简介:
Aedes aegypti is a major vector of arboviruses causing dengue and yellow fever. Dengue is a major public health concern in the tropical and subtropical countries, where 50 million infections annually result in 500,000 cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever and 22,000 deaths. Since no vaccines, prophylaxis or therapeutics exist, vector control remains the only means of dengue control. In this study we sequenced and analyzed transcriptomes of neonatal male and female Aedes aegypti larvae. An insight into early development of this mosquito may open new avenues for the control of this mosquito.
