Amplicon sequencing of cellulose-enriched bacterial community across disturbance frequencies

16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing of cellulose-enriched microbial communities from Atta colombica leaf-cutter ant refuse dumps. Data represent five disturbance treatments (disturbed every 1, 2, 3, 5, or 7 days) and two substrate treatments (glucose and cellulose), sampled over seven days. Communities were grown in M63 minimal media supplemented with either glucose or cellulose.
