This project provides the genome assembly of Trematomus hansoni, common name striped rockcod, based on a sample provided by T. Desvignes, Detrich H. W. III and J.H. Postlethwait. The assembly was generated as part of the Antarctic Notothenioids Fish Genomes Project at the Wellcome Sanger Institute (https: //www.sanger.ac.uk/project/antarctic-notothenioids-fish-genomes-project/).
