Source data and plotting scripts for Figures 2-4 of "Multi-species adjoint inversion with adaptive regularization for atmospheric emissions"

This record contains the source data and plotting scripts used to reproduce Figures 2-4 of the manuscript "Multi-species adjoint inversion with adaptive regularization for atmospheric emissions". The archive includes processed source data for the regularization-sensitivity experiment, the pairwise SO2-NH3 inversion experiment, and the multi-species inversion experiment under heterogeneous prior errors. It contains CSV and NPZ data files, Python plotting scripts, a README file describing data provenance, and a requirements file listing the Python packages used for plotting. The materials are lightweight processed outputs prepared for figure reproduction and do not include the full CMAQ/CMAQ-Adjoint simulation output or restricted original emission inventories. The original MEIC inventory is not redistributed because of data-use restrictions. The archived data and scripts are sufficient to reproduce the main quantitative results shown in Figures 2-4.
