One day in the extraordinary life of the first gamma-ray NLS1: PMN J0948+0022

The discovery by FermiLAT of variable gammaray emission from 4 radioloudNarrow Line Seyfert 1 revealed the presence of an emerging third class ofgammaray emitting AGNs. This poses intriguing questions on the knowledge of theUnified model of AGNs, the development of relativistic jets, the disc/jetconnection, and the evolution of radioloud AGNs. We propose a 90 ksecXMMNewton observation of the first RLNLS1 detected in gammarays by FermiLAT:PMN J0948+0022. The XMMNewton satellite, thanks to the high sensitivity of theEPIC cameras and the broad band coverage from optical to Xrays, creates aperfect synergy with Fermi for a complete understanding of properties of thisprototypical gammaray radioloud Narrow Line Seyfert 1. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
