资源简介:
The DataSet contains the results of the mechanical behaviour of a concrete beam under a 3-point bending test. The beams had dimensions 15 x 15 x 70 cm3. The beam B-Con was made of concrete without fibres (as the reference beam), while beams B-002, B-004, and B-006 were manufactured from the concrete mix containing 2 kg/m3, 4 kg/m3 and 6 kg/m3 of fibres, respectively. The elements were notched to induce crack formation in a specific area of the beams. The notch had a width of 4 mm and a depth of 15 mm (10 % of the beam height) and was cut on the bottom of the beam in the middle of its span. The 3-point bending tests were performed using the universal testing machine (UTM) Instron 5569 equipped with a CMOD (crack mouth opening displacement) gauge extensometer 2670-130 with a base of a length of 5 mm. The distance between supports was 45 cm. The parameters of the test were: a preload of 10 N, a constant mid-span displacement increment of 0.3 mm/min (in the initial stage of loading) and then with a constant strain increment of 0.3%/min (after the force value reached 5 kN). The tests were stopped when the CMOD achieved 0.5 mm. During the 3-point bending test, integrated ultrasonic testing (UT) and digital image correlation (DIC) measurements were carried out. The excitation was a five-cycle wave packet with a central frequency of 80 kHz. Photographs of the front surface of the beam were taken every 5 s by Canon EOS 5D III digital camera. Wave propagation signals were registered every 5 s with a sampling frequency of 8 MHz by a digital oscilloscope PicoScope 4824. More detailed information on this study may be found in the paper: Rucka, M.; Wojtczak, E.; Knak, M.; Kurpińska, M. Characterization of fracture process in polyolefin fibre-reinforced concrete using ultrasonic waves and digital image correlation. Constr. Build. Mater. 2021, 280, 122522, doi:10.1016/j.conbuildmat.2021.122522 The dataset consists of wave propagation signals and photographs for beam B-002 (concrete with 2 kg/m3 of fibres) The photographs (.jpg) presenting the front surface of the beam were taken every 5 s. The UT files utilize a comma-separated values (.csv) format and contain wave propagation signals of a length of 5 ms, recorded every 5 s. In a single file, the time vector (in ms) and the signals from channels A (in V), B (in V) and D (in V) can be found. The UTM file has (.csv) extension and contains the time of the test (1st column), force (5th column), displacement of traverse (2nd column) and strain (6th column).
