Data and R scripts for "Oxygen dynamics across connected coastal ecosystems: Heterogeneity may mitigate oxygen extremes"
收藏资源简介:
Data and R code for “Oxygen dynamics across connected coastal ecosystems: Heterogeneity may mitigate oxygen extremes” This repository contains the observational dataset and R scripts used in the associated paper (Terada, 2026, Journal of Geophysical Research: Biogeosciences). The dataset consists of 10-minute observations of dissolved oxygen (DO) and environmental variables from three adjacent, hydrologically connected coastal ecosystems in the Fukido River area, Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, Japan: a coral reef, a seagrass bed, and a mangrove river. Observations were made from 5 to 31 August 2024 and include DO, water temperature, light intensity, and water depth, together with tide level and meteorological data from the Japan Meteorological Agency. The R scripts reproduce the analyses and the main figures and tables of the paper: heatmaps, spectral analysis, ebb-tide event analysis, redundancy analysis (RDA), generalized linear models (GLMs) and generalized additive models (GAMs) of DO supersaturation, and an AR(1) sensitivity analysis. Outputs are saved in the Results/ folder. See README.md for details.
