MackSC Cam Industry Snapshot Dataset

Time series of live cam industry totals across Chaturbate, Stripchat, and Streamate. Polled every 2 minutes from platform APIs, persisted every 10 minutes to a MariaDB table, rolled up to hourly aggregates daily. This release covers the window from 2026-04-11 through 2026-08-10 inclusive. Each row in the time series file represents a single 10-minute snapshot. Columns cover total live rooms, total concurrent viewers, per-platform rooms and viewers for Chaturbate and Stripchat, and a flag indicating whether the row is a raw snapshot or a daily-aggregated hourly average. Streamate room counts are tracked separately in a sibling transient and are not folded into the Chaturbate or Stripchat totals. Streamate viewer counts are not public via API and therefore do not contribute to any viewer-weighted metric in this release. Three companion files normalize the JSON columns of the snapshot table into flat CSVs: one for country distribution, one for the top 20 tag trends, one for the gender split.
