Micotoxin contamination data on maize harvested from farmers fields in South Western Ethiopia

This database contains data on mycotoxin contamination of maize grains harvested from subsistence farmers fields in southwestern Ethiopia. Fifty-four maize grain samples were collected from farmers’ fields across three administrative zones and nine districts of southwestern part of Ethiopia at harvest during November to December of the 2021 cropping season. The samples were analyzed for multiple mycotoxins using Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS/MS). Data are presented as frequency distribution, mean and median. The dataset has been developed within H2020 EWA-BELT Project (GA 862848).
