This is a public dataset containing approximately 16.9 million ride-hailing trip records in the City of Chicago. It comprehensively documents detailed information such as trip duration, start and end times, pickup and dropoff locations, fares, tips, and other related trip details. This dataset can be used to analyze the fairness of driver-passenger matching based on community areas, thereby reflecting the socioeconomic inequality in Chicago. With its considerable scale, it covers over 16.9 million trips in total. The core research task of this dataset is to maximize the fairness between individual drivers and driver groups in ride-hailing scenarios.
