资源简介:

Version 1.0: Please be aware that this version of the dataset is NOT the final revised one! The paper is currently still in progress. The Extended LamaH-CE dataset represents an enhanced version of the original LamaH-CE dataset (Klingler et al., 2021), providing comprehensive hydrometeorological time series and catchment attributes for 859 gauged basins in Central Europe. This extended version serves as supplementary material to the paper "BiasCast: Learning and adjusting real time biases from meteorological forecasts to enhance runoff predictions" and incorporates multiple state-of-the-art meteorological forcing datasets to enable advanced hydrological modeling and forecasting applications. Important Note: This Extended LamaH-CE dataset contains only the modified components. All enhancements were made exclusively to: A_basins_total_upstrm: Traditional catchment delineation (topographic catchments) D_gauges: Enhanced with qmin, qmax, and renamed qobs to qmean For all other components (aggregation levels B and C, catchment attributes, shapefiles, and documentation), users should refer to the original LamaH-CE dataset. Additional Meteorological Forcings The Extended LamaH-CE incorporates four major meteorological datasets, spatially aggregated to the catchment scale: E-OBS: High-resolution gridded observational dataset for European climate variables MSWEP: Multi-Source Weighted-Ensemble Precipitation with global coverage GLEAM: Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model for evapotranspiration and soil moisture ECMWF HRES: Deterministic forecasts from the Integrated Forecasting System All data sources are placed in the column headers as a prefix to the meteorological variable (e.g. ERA5L_2m_temp_mean). Enhanced Discharge Data The runoff time series have been augmented with additional statistical measures derived from hourly LamaH-CE: qmin: Daily minimum discharge qmax: Daily maximum discharge qmean: Daily mean discharge (renamed from qobs in the original version) Disclaimer The authors have processed this dataset with care and performed plausibility checks on all outputs. However, users acknowledge that neither the dataset creators nor the original data providers can be held liable for any errors, omissions, or consequences arising from the use of this dataset. Users are encouraged to perform their own quality assessments appropriate for their specific applications. License Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) This change from the original CC BY 4.0 license is necessitated by the inclusion of meteorological forcings with non-commercial restrictions. Acknowledgments We acknowledge the data providers for E-OBS (ECA&D project), MSWEP (GloH2O), GLEAM (Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model team), and ECMWF for making their datasets available. We further ask kindly for compliance in citing the data providers in the LamaH-CE paper.
